Do you ever look at your wardrobe and still feel like you have nothing to wear?
Perhaps you’ve accumulated plenty of clothes over the years, but you’re not sure what works together anymore. Maybe your body or lifestyle has changed and your wardrobe hasn’t kept up, or you’ve reached the point where getting dressed feels more complicated than it should.
A wardrobe edit – sometimes called a wardrobe consultation, wardrobe planning, or wardrobe styling – gives you a fresh perspective and a stylist’s eye on what you own. Together, we’ll look at what’s working wonderfully, what might need a rethink, and identify any gaps that are worth filling to make your wardrobe work harder for you. I’ll also help you put together outfit combinations you might not have considered.
Whether you’re following on from a Colour Analysis or ready to take stock of your wardrobe, a wardrobe edit can help you create a more intentional wardrobe and take some of the mental load out of getting dressed.

The service begins with a complimentary 15-minute styling discovery call, where we’ll chat about what you’d like help with and what you’d like to achieve, so I can make sure the service is right for you.
My wardrobe consultation with Tara at Hue and Bloom was so helpful. She helped me clear out what wasn’t working, put together outfit options from pieces I already had, and explained what styles suit my body shape best. I’ve rediscovered items I’d completely forgotten about and realised I don’t need to buy lots of new clothes!
A styled wardrobe makes getting dressed easier
A wardrobe edit is the Build stage of my Discover → Build → Bloom style journey.
It’s where we take what we’ve discovered about you so far and apply it to your existing wardrobe, so it reflects where you are today.
If you’ve had a colour analysis with me, we’ll bring your seasonal colour palette into the wardrobe edit, looking at how the colours you already own work together and how to style pieces that fall outside your palette. We’ll also consider your body shape and lifestyle, because a wardrobe needs to make you feel good and work for your real life.
You don’t need to have had a Colour Analysis with me first. If you’ve had your colours analysed elsewhere, I’m happy to take your existing palette into account too.

You don’t have to book the whole journey at once. I recommend starting with Colour Analysis, then adding the next stage when you’re ready. You can spread the journey over time and choose the services that are most useful to you.

Your wardrobe edit experience
Your session begins before I arrive. We’ll start with a short consultation call to talk through your goals, specific challenges, and some basic information such as your sizing – so that when I arrive, we can dedicate as much time as possible to your wardrobe.
On the day, I’ll begin with a brief body shape analysis using a short questionnaire and discussion, so that as we go through your wardrobe together, we can explore which shapes, proportions, and styles help you feel your best, while identifying pieces that may no longer support your lifestyle. If you’ve already had a colour analysis, we’ll also keep your seasonal colour palette in mind throughout.
From there, we’ll go through your wardrobe piece by piece. By the end of the session, you’ll have a more intentional, edited wardrobe that feels true to you, along with outfit combinations and styling ideas to take forward.
Sessions are up to 2 hours. If we need more time, additional hours can be arranged.
Within 7 business days of your wardrobe edit, you’ll receive an email follow-up covering what we achieved, including styling notes, new outfit combinations and a shopping list of any gaps we identified.
As a bit of a hoarder, I often find it difficult to make decisions about what to keep and what to let go. Tara approached this with great sensitivity and understanding. She respected the sentimental value of some of my favourite pieces and suggested new ways to style them so they still worked within my updated colour palette.

Travel up to 20 miles is included. Over 20 miles additional travel charges may apply.
Additional time is available at £75 per hour, by agreement.
